Letter F

Dear uninspired person sitting at your desk with blank paper before you,
Begin with the first letter of the alphabet, and draw absolutely whatever you want  as long as you can justify its relation with the letter "A".  The point is simply to begin, so if you become too excited about creating something else and never make it to the letter "Z", you have not sinned.  However, if you are a perfectionist, it may be vital to your own peace of mind that you complete the exercise.  Above you see my letter "F"(think My Side of the Mountain), though I have since proceeded to "J".

P.S. it will help to write down this quote and tape it to your wall or something.
"To begin, begin." - William Wordsworth

Walks are Good

These are my friends.  They all have pretty hair.  One morning we went on a walk together.
Trying without success to take a good picture of a stick (a very elegant stick), I decided the vibrant ground cover deserved as much attention and moved on rather quickly.  Mostly because my friends were too kind to leave anyone far behind so I was trying to keep up with them.
You probably already know that one of the best things in the world is when you gently open your hand to set free a wild creature you've caught and for whatever reason (but hopefully because it likes you) it lingers for a moment before jumping/scurrying/flying away.
Walks are good.  You might want to take one.

Pointless

I sketched aimlessly and found to my surprise I rather enjoy drawing little blue cars.

Suddenly it began to rain.

So I went out and dropped my sketches in a puddle.
The end.

Sisters Found Something To Do

For brief moments the forest was illuminated, the doings of a faraway star and a few adjusting clouds. Most of the time, however, we walked over leaves in the softest light.

The mosquitos found us after a while, and I became tired of ornery burrs clinging to my dress.

Returning home, neither of us were yet aware we had snatched up our adventure in this green world's final hours.  Days later all these leaves have altered hue, and many already rest on the ground.
